ONE-ON-ONE COACHING

Before beginning mental performance coaching, you'll want to schedule a FREE initial evaluation. Parents are requested to accompany minors to the initial evaluation. Please plan for the evaluations to last 40-50 minutes. These can be conducted in-office or via video call.

COACHING SESSIONS ARE AVAILABLE IN-PERSON OR VIRTUALLY

One-on-one coaching are offered in-person for those local to the DFW area, or via video call for those in other states/countries.

ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS ARE OFFERED IN PACKAGES

Each session is 50-minutes long, and payments are run automatically (per session) through the online portal at midnight CST following the athlete's session.

The program is full of video lessons, worksheets, audio clips, printables, etc. Click the buttons to learn more about each program.

HYBRID TRAINING OPTIONS

The hybrid training options (or bundle packages) include the best of both worlds - access to the online training program AND one-on-one coaching sessions.

BUNDLE PACKAGES INCLUDE OUR ONLINE TRAINING PROGRAM AND ONE-ON-ONE COACHING SESSIONS

The bundle packages give the athlete LIFETIME access to all of the lessons and supplemental materials included in the online training program (so they can review whenever needed), and individualized coaching from the one-on-one sessions (each session is 30 minutes long). The two work hand in hand with each other for best results.

ATHLETES RECEIVE DISCOUNTED PRICING ON SESSIONS GOING FORWARD

Dancers and gymnasts who begin with a bundle package, and choose to continue one-on-one coaching sessions afterwards, are able to bypass the "first time athlete" pricing and go straight to the "renewing athlete" pricing. This means that these athletes can choose their level of independence and convenience when beginning their training, and then enjoy discounted pricing on future sessions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

WHAT AGES DO YOU WORK WITH?

The athlete needs to be old enough and mature enough to understand and apply the concepts and skills we discuss. Generally speaking, 11-12 year olds are at a "sweet spot" to begin mental performance coaching. That said, every athlete is different and occasionally kids who are a bit younger are still ready and able to begin. If you are unsure, feel free to submit the inquiry form on the contact page or schedule a free initial evaluation.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

Because mental performance coaching is truly a form of coaching/training, we are unable to accept insurance. Mental performance coaching is NOT a form of "treatment" for anything diagnosable, therefore there are no diagnosis or treatment codes to submit to insurance.

CAN MY CHILD JUST TRY A FEW SESSIONS WITHOUT COMMITTING TO A PACKAGE?

No — Mental performance coaching is not a "quick fix". It’s a process that requires consistent practice, reinforcement, and progression over time, just like physical training. When sessions are done individually without a sustained plan, the work often becomes fragmented. Athletes may learn random skills, but won't have the ongoing support or accountability to fully integrate them. This can lead to frustration, minimal improvement, or abandoning the process before real change takes place.

By committing to a package, athletes invest in both the learning and the implementation phases—giving themselves the best chance to build confidence, consistency, and mental resilience. Anything less would be doing them a disservice.

Initial evaluations are offered for FREE to determine if mental performance coaching is the right fit for your athlete!

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW ABOUT SCHEDULING SESSIONS?

In the interest of making coaching sessions as beneficial as possible, please note that these sessions are designed to be one-on-one between the coach and the athlete. Athletes often speak more openly with an outside, third-party which allows for more effective coaching.

That said, parents are encouraged to accompany minors during the initial evaluation. For athletes who skip the initial evaluation and dive straight in with a hybrid training program, Emily is happy to meet parents briefly at the start of the first session.

Finally, we ask that you avoid scheduling sessions while in the car. While it may seem convenient to connect on the way to rehearsal or practice, in-car video calls often cut out or freeze which wastes valuable time. We want every minute to be productive and a strong, stable connection makes that possible. Thanks in advance for understanding!
